Maserati GT2 Stradale Has An Aggressive Design And 201 MPH Performance For The Track
by AutoExpert | 20 August, 2024
The latest super sports car from Maserati, the GT2 Stradale, is built on the MC20 platform. It boasts a bold front bumper with a wide shark nose, larger air intakes, and an integrated splitter for an aggressive look. The GT2 Stradale is equipped with 20-inch forged wheels, front fender vents, and a vented hood. It also includes a striking aggressive diffuser, massive side scoops, and an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing.
At 174 miles per hour, that wing aids the Maserati GT2 Stradale in producing aerodynamic downforce up to 1,102 pounds.
While most of the inside is the same, the drivers' seats have a new design with a carbon fiber shell and Blu Elettrico Alcantara fabric. If customers want seats that are more suitable for everyday driving, they can also choose from less severe sport seats. Also, the steering wheel now features integrated LED lights that illuminate at 5,500 rpm in Sport and Corsa modes. Additionally, the model features matte finishes, and a carbon fiber center tunnel.
"Enlarged to fit the latest smartphones," a wireless charger, a 10.25-inch entertainment system, six or twelve speakers for sound, and a digital instrument cluster are all available to buyers. The 3.0-liter V6 engine now cranks out 631 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque, offering a 10-horsepower boost. However, torque has dropped slightly by 7 lb-ft.
The engine is coupled to a rear-wheel-drive system through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Because of this, the Maserati GT2 Stradale can reach a peak speed of 201 mph and accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Although the peak speed is 1 mph lower, it is 0.1 second quicker than the standard model. A track-oriented suspension and bigger carbon ceramic discs from Brembo's beefier braking system round out the mechanical upgrades.
Maserati will offer two distinct performance bundles. The first bundle includes electric limited-slip differentials, carbon ceramic racing brakes, Michelin ultra-high-performance semi-slick tires, as well as calibrations for the ABS, ESC, and MSP. Performance Plus is an upgrade for those looking for something more intense. Along with the previously listed elements, it also comes with other racing-derived features, including a fire extinguisher and four-point seat belts.
