Mansory Unveils MCX Pergusa, The Ultimate Maserati MC20 Makeover
by AutoExpert | 16 May, 2024
Mansory has just introduced a new Maserati MC20 tuning package. So, what's different now? The MCX Pergusa boasts new forged carbon bodywork, a stunning cabin, and a revised engine. Compared to earlier Mansory MC20 versions, the MCX Pergusa is more unique due to its limited manufacturing run of five pieces.
The bodywork is almost all forged carbon, and this latest version has a hood scoop and minor aerodynamic tweaks. The MCX also has a reworked nose, as well as front and rear center lock wheels that are 21 and 22 inches in diameter, respectively.
New wheels, wider fenders, bigger air intakes, and longer skirts make a statement. A massive wing, an engine cover with vents, and a double diffuser with four exhaust pipes are visible in the rear. Every Mansory creation allows the owner to customize the MCX Pergusa's interior to their unique preferences. This version's quilted leather upholstery is orange and black and continues into the footwell and floor mats.
In addition, there are carbon fiber inlays, a central console with gold accents, orange seatbelts branded with Mansory, and more. Along with an in-house high-performance exhaust system, the tuner has also modified the engine's electronics. The 3.0-liter V6 engine in the middle produces an astonishing 740 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque.
The modified supercar is even more powerful than the track-only MCXtrema, with a 119 horsepower and 111 lb-ft boost compared to the factory Maserati MC20. Mansory claims that the MCX can reach 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the original vehicle. Furthermore, Mansory has increased the top speed to 208 mph, marking an increase of 6 mph.
The tuner only revealed that they would offer the five vehicles as complete conversions, without providing any details about the MCX Pergusa's cost. The upgrade's price is unknown, but the revamped MCX Pergusa should be far more expensive than the standard Maserati MC20.
