Lamborghini Urus Is Now A 1,001 HP Monstrosity
by AutoExpert | 27 December, 2021
Lamborghini Urus is a very muscular SUV, but that hasn't prevented tuners from striving to enhance its performance and aesthetics. This time, Mansory and MTM worked together to make the greatest aftermarket Lamborghini Urus. Massive front air intakes, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, and a forceful rear diffuser with a centrally located triple exhaust system are all part of the extreme aero package.
The redesigned Urus is painted in black with slight gold accents and looks ominous enough. Lamborghini Urus's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 generates 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque in stock condition, but MTM has increased the output to 1,001 hp.
The power output is proudly displayed on a badge on the back bumper. Adding a pair of bigger turbochargers, modifying the intake system, installing a special air filter, and strengthening the SUV's ZF eight-speed automatic, were all intended to accomplish this massive boost. The torque grows to an astounding 922 lb-ft with the stage 3 kit added and is electrically restricted to prevent damage to the transmission.
No performance estimates have been disclosed, but with roughly double the power, the bespoke Urus should be substantially quicker than the ordinary model. As a reminder, the basic Lamborghini Urus accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches 189.5 mph. No cost information is given, however, the stock Urus starts at $218,009.
