Lamborghini Sold Out A Car That Doesn't Exist For $2.38 Million

This is an insane trick that could be pulled off only by a handful of carmakers. Here is the deal. In order to celebrate the 100th birthday of Ferrucio Lamborghini, the carmaker will create an ultra-special edition dubbed: Centenario. And here's the kicker, they already sold it out all 40 units before even building it.
The craziest thing is that people paid $2,380,000 for a special edition supercar that hasn't yet been built. That's how much customers trust Lamborghini. The Centenario was/will be offered as 20 coupes and 20 roadsters and will bring around $100 Million in profits for the 100th birthday. Sleek.
Reportedly, the Centenario will be powered by a modified 6.5-liter V12 that can produce around 759 horsepower and will have the all-wheel-drive system, a carbon-fiber tub, and a top speed of 215 miles per hour.
If the special edition Sesto Elemento and Reventon are of any indication of the coolness of the Centenario, it is a wonder that it sold out. We will get to see this supercar during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
