Is Porsche Sebring Spyder the first lightweight minimalist Porsche?
by AllAutoExperts | 18 November, 2015
This Porsche Sebring Spyder concept has been developed by the German designer Marcus Classen and it is not an official Porsche concept.
What you see is a lightweight roadster, inspired by Porsche's history, especially the Porsche 718 W-RS Spyder model. Nevertheless, it does have some slight influences from Panamericano, GT1, Speedster, and 356.
The car fits two people and provides little to no protection whatsoever from the meteorological threats, like rain or wind. Don't mistake the roll-up as protection, because it's not.
The chassis has been left mostly visible, blending with the lateral sides of the car and the roll-bar.
The car works on a completely electric drive train, functioning on two rear wheels engines and a central accumulator.
