Is Jeep Chief Concept a tribut to classical full size Cherokee?
by AllAutoExperts | 16 November, 2015
This Jeep Chief Concept is a concept that has been developed for the 2015 Easter Jeep Safari, by Jeep, representing one of the 7 special models prepared by them especially for this event. An event, which by the way, has been organized by Jeep themselves, each of its editions celebrating a tradition in Jeep's history.
The Chief concept represents a celebration of the 70s classical full-size Cherokee.
Jeep Wrangler is the model that served as a base for the Chief concept, with a retro shaped chassis and some influences from the surfing lifestyle. The Ocean Blue paint highlights the white stripes on the roof, as well as the grille and halogen lighting. You will like the chromium protection bars and the 70s style wheels.
The cabin of the car welcomes you with a Hawaiian motif, with floral prints on the seats and board control with stickers. The interior is embellished with rosewood and a speed button in wood, as well. Don't be fooled by the retro style; the passengers will enjoy an 8.4-inch infotainment system with a Uconnect touchscreen.
The Chief is powered by a 2.6 V6 engine, working with a manual six-phase gearbox.
