Honda Motocompo Electric Cafe Racer Is Envisioned By A Designer

Think about how the classic Honda Motocompo would look today if it were updated to reflect current fashions and design tastes. For starters, Allan Williams, a graphic designer, made it bigger, as implied by the project name: Honda Motocompo XL.
Many of the design cues from the original Honda Motocompo have been included in this XL version, although it isn't supposed to be foldable like the original.
On this Honda Motocompo XL illustration, the seating position is likewise much more vertical. The clip-ons are positioned such that a rider can sit in the customary crouching position for the class, while the saddle sits immediately over the footpegs.
The solid wheels have big Honda wing insignia, and an electric engine is apparently buried in the rear wheel. There are currently no mirrors visible on this rendering. It's unclear where mirrors would sit and what they'd look like if meant for street use, but it's an intriguing concept to consider.
