Hennessey. Humiliate Veyron!
by AllAutoExperts | 14 October, 2015
Hennessey Performance had plenty of reasons to be proud, the moment it managed to overcome the supercar Venom GT with a speed higher than 434 km/h. Finally, it is much more than Bugatti Veyron Super Sport could perform. Unfortunately, the race hadn't been officially recognized by the Guinness Book, but Hennessey didn't go desperate.
The company's new project was named F5, borrowing the name of Fujita Scala, classifying the tornados' power. Of course, if we were to talk about it in a different society, it would raise only admiration, but Hennessey had seriously made up its mind.
Let's start with a 7 liters twin Turbo V8, projected to generate at least 1400 hp, which will perfectly match with the newest gearbox. The new organism will be installed on a Lotus Elise chassis and will contribute to the reduction of the drawdown coefficient and optimize, at the same time, the clamping force.
All of this and more is done so that Hennessey reaches 465 km/h. The launching price for all 30 cars, start at 1.2 million dollars.
