G8M Hurricane RR From G-Power Is A BMW M8 With 887 HP

G-Power has already released several tuning packages for the German grand tourer, so this isn't the company's first M8-based car. The Hurricane types, as always, are the most powerful alternatives.

BMW M8 Competition comes standard with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque. G-Power worked to increase those numbers to 887 hp (662 kW / 900 PS) of power and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque for the G8M Hurricane RR, taking cues from the M5-based G5M Hurricane RR from last year.

G8M Hurricane RS has 828 hp (618 kW / 840 PS) and then the same 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque as the G8M Hurricane. Enhanced turbochargers with wider intake and exhaust surfaces, as well as CNC-milled housings, are among the hardware and software upgrades included in both tuning packs.

Forged pistons, upgraded connecting rods, a larger cooling system, and a stronger drivetrain are included.  The stainless steel Deeptone exhaust features sport downpipes, sport catalytic converters, and four 110 mm carbon tailpipes on both versions.

Both the G8M Hurricane RS and RR can attain a high speed of 340 km/h, which is only limited by the tires due to the huge power increase.

While the business did not provide acceleration data, the customized vehicles are anticipated to be speedier than the stock car, which speeds from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 secs. G8M is coated in a vivid orange shiny exterior hue with carbon-fiber embellishments, as are all cars in the Hurricane series.

It also receives a new Ventury carbon bonnet with inbuilt vents and a carbon back wing with CNC-milled bases. G-Power provides two different styles of 21-inch forged wheels with combined performance tires (285/30ZR21 upfront and 295/30ZR21 up back).

New and flexible coilovers also help to lower the suspension. Hand-finished leather and Alcantara upholstery, as well as carbon-fiber trim, adorn the cabin. The co-driver will be aware that they are inside a very unusual M8 thanks to a branded plaque on the center console.

G8M Hurricane RS and RR are not yet posted on G-official Power's website, but you can reach the tuner personally for additional information. The price hasn't been revealed, but based on the €115,000 ($136,784) required for a similar G5M Hurricane RR upgrade (not including the source car), it will be pricey.
