Fisker Alaska Electric Pickup Confirms European Debut And Unique Features
by AutoExpert | 23 January, 2024
Fisker has officially confirmed its plan to export the Alaska, its upcoming all-electric pickup, to Europe. However, Fisker Alaska will be available for European buyers, but with a limited production run.
The Alaska, part of Fisker's showcased lineup at Product Vision Day, shares a platform with the Ocean SUV, currently available in North America and Europe. While Fisker intends to begin Alaska production in the first quarter of 2025, the company has confirmed its global availability, addressing European market demand.
As you might have already spotted, the Fisker Alaska's design aligns closely with the Ocean SUV, potentially simplifying compliance with safety standards in various markets. Despite its familiar design, the Alaska boasts distinctive features, including a flexible cargo bed expanding from 4.5 to 7.5 feet, unique storage solutions, an insulated front storage compartment, and a specialized gulp cupholder.
The pickup will offer two battery options, 75 kWh and 113 kWh, providing a range between 230 and 340 miles, along with impressive acceleration times starting at 3.9 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. While the exact release date and pricing for the European market remain unclear, Fisker plans to launch the Alaska in the U.S. with a starting price of $45,400.
