Finale Speed Produces The Finest 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Ever
by AutoExpert | 2 November, 2023
Finale Speed has just unveiled its latest project, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro showcased at the SEMA Show. What makes this Camaro truly stand out is its stunning carbon fiber exterior. Finale Speed went the extra mile by crafting an entirely new carbon fiber body for this classic muscle car, meticulously priming and painting it with a custom-mixed BASF Candy Red finish.
Under the hood, the famous builder replaced the stock powertrain with a beastly LT4 6.2-liter crate V8, a supercharger modified for extra kick, and mated it to a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission with a twin-disc clutch.
With a potent 650 horsepower, all that punch gets channeled through a Ford 9-inch rear end and a limited-slip differential. The engine breathes easy thanks to a stainless steel 2.5-inch exhaust system with new headers and custom MagnaFlow mufflers. The Camaro rides on Forgeline wheels, 18x10 at the front and 18x12 at the rear, wrapped in grippy Toyo R888R tires.
With six-piston Wilwood brake calipers up front and 14-inch slotted, cross-drilled rotors, as well as four-piston Wilwood calipers at the rear with 14-inch rotors, stopping power is impressive. To ensure precise handling, Finale Speed added oversized sway bars, both front and rear, and equipped it with Fox coilovers.
Inside, the Camaro has received plenty of attention too. New seats with four-point belts, an Alcantara-trimmed console, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a four-point rollbar, and a carbon fiber rear seat delete create a sporty and luxurious atmosphere. An Alpine head unit, Focal speakers, and a Focal subwoofer complete the interior, making it a well-rounded and breathtaking package. This is a Camaro that seamlessly mixes style, performance, and craftsmanship, ready to turn heads on the road.
