BMW is preparing to drop the production of current Coupe and Cabrio versions from the previous-generation 1 Series. To mark the sendoff that established a new segment for the company, BMW has decided to launch a special farewell edition.
Their debut will take place in January 2013 at NAIAS. The Limited Edition version will be called Lifestyle and will be available in both body styles, coupe, and convertible. The package will be available on most versions of the engine.
The limited-edition will be available in the following colors: Mineral White, Sapphire Black, and Space Grey. The aesthetic kit brings 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome inserts, and decorative elements to the grille. For the convertible version, BMW offers a brown fabric roof.
On the interior, the special edition is distinguished by brown skin and white contrasting seams on the dashboard, steering wheel and seats. There will also be custom mats, wood inlays, and a custom ceiling.
