Any biker will tell you that Harley-Davidson motorcycles give you the brand iconic status. The good part is that they can be modified with minor enhancements, to satisfy the owners’ need to stand out in a crowd.
We present to you the Harley whose modifications amounted to at least half the price of the standard bike. The usual Street Bob is sold for a starting price of $14,599, but this particular one is worth a lot more than that.
Officially called Black Denim, the bike changed unrecognizably its features. A tad fatter rear end, with the addition of a swingarm kit, a whole new fender, and customed wheel. The upfront also had its wheel, handler bar, and signals replaced.
Mechanically, the bike has a new pulley brake kit and a Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hydeexhaust system. Also enhancements such as air filters, covers for the clutch/ignition, and toppers.
The total charge for the builds cost the client a bit more than $7,000. Now add the man-hours and the exhaust system to the sum. But the new aspect shows that it was worth it.
