Daihatsu Unveils Off-Road Rocky Crossfield Concept At 2024 GIIAS

Building on the success of the Daihatsu Rocky and Toyota Raize, both of which have been popular since their market debut in 2019, Daihatsu is taking things up a notch with a fresh and exciting concept. Called the Daihatsu Rocky Crossfield, it made its debut at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show.
As you can see, many off-road adaptations are present. Plain plastic bumpers, a grille cover, black wheel arch moldings, and Rocky Crossfield decals on the profile are all identical to the Toyota RAV4 Adventure Off-Road Package II, which the concept takes inspiration from.
The carmaker chose to design the Crossfield concept with halogen headlights, despite the Rocky offering LED options. The concept's Sand Beige Metallic color draws inspiration from beach activities, and it rides on black 16-inch wheels shod with all-terrain tires by Dunlop. The interior features a 9-inch infotainment system and accents in Dark Grey Metallic.
The standard naturally aspirated 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine under the hood produces just 85 horsepower and 77 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) transfers power to the front axle.
