Dacia Duster Carpoint Edition: A Monster-Themed Marvel on Wheels
by AutoExpert | 17 October, 2023
Having amassed over 2 million sales, the Dacia Duster has cultivated a vast fanbase, making upgrades a given. Taking the lead, German Dealer Carpoint, along with its dedicated CP Performance sub-brand, showcased an audacious build highlighting robust upgrade options.
Devoted readers might recall the yellow-themed Carpoint Edition Dacia Duster from a few months back. The latest rendition, however, leans into a more eerie aesthetic.
With a monster-themed exterior dominated by claws, cords, fangs, and monstrous flesh motifs against a vivid yellow and white canvas, it's unapologetically bold. This is complemented by the prominent "Carpoint Edition" insignia.
Beyond its captivating exterior, this Romanian SUV boasts new 20-inch Ronal R62 wheels wrapped in 255/35ZR20 tires. The dazzling yellow makes its way into the headlight interiors and roof racks, while the taillight trims are swathed in black.
Although the model displayed has been subtly lowered, more pronounced trims cater to those with a penchant for the extravagant. Rounding off the exterior is the bespoke quad exhaust system.
It's noteworthy that CP Performance isn't merely about aesthetics. Alongside sportier Dusters, they offer off-road focused enhancements, like robust protective components, elevated roof racks, lift kits, and all-terrain tires.
The interior is a study in contrasts: yellow touches juxtaposed with black stitching.
The original Dacia fabric gives way to opulent upholstery, with seats flaunting a Bentley-esque quilted pattern, embellished by the embroidered Carpoint emblem - a motif that extends to the floor mats.
Carpoint's operations span Neukirchen-Vluyn to Beckum, the latter housing a specialized workshop where these Dacia Duster transformations occur. The current roster of Carpoint Edition models ranges from $29,955 to $34,686, although the model described isn't listed.
As Dacia gears up for its third-generation Duster in 2024, tuning aficionados are undoubtedly poised to roll out new customizations. Dacia, too, is prepping an extensive accessories range for this renowned crossover.
