Chelsea Truck Calls This Gloomy Mercedes X-Class The 'Dark Destroyer'
by AutoExpert | 24 November, 2021
UK-based Chelsea Truck Company is currently selling a "Dark Destroyer" customized version of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup for £49,999 ($66,803), despite the truck's discontinuation last year due to reduced demand.
Project Kahn's style package includes larger fenders, reinforced door guards, a vented hood, and black-painted bumpers for a dark aspect on the modified Mercedes X-Class.
The blacked-out 22-inch RS-XF wheels look great with the hefty Mud-Terrain tires and suspension raise package. The Dark Destroyer also comes with bullet-proof tinted windows and a hard-top for the back bed as an alternative.
Quilted soft leather upholstery featuring red highlights and red embroidery for the seats, as well as revised trim for the main armrest, door armrests, and dash, are found inside.
Navigation, a reversing camera, Bluetooth connectivity, an 8-speaker audio system, and automatic lights and wipers are among the factory-installed amenities.
The factory 2.3-liter turbodiesel with 190 horsepower (142 kW / 193 PS) replaces the range-topping V6. A nine-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels.
The odometer on this vehicle reads 13,500 miles (21,726 km) and it was manufactured in 2019. The kit is now available for purchase on Chelsea Truck Company's official website, however, anyone who already owns a Mercedes X-Class can purchase it separately.
