Even though the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible doesn't require any changes, SlyStyle decided to give it some nevertheless. First off, the C8 Corvette's front end now features a sleek new splitter in a glossy black finish that is a perfect complement to the car's racy profile.
In addition, SlyStyle added new side skirts with prominent fins and a set of modest aerodynamic canards to the bumper. The C8 Corvette also got a new rear wing and diffuser that are TÜV certified for use in Germany.
The new front splitter can provide up to 110 lbs of downforce, according to the tuner, whereas the rear wing components can produce an additional 176 lbs of downforce. The German tuner has also created lowering collars for cars with the stock front lift system that reduce the ride height by 0.7 inches both at the front and back.
Furthermore, a set of unique wheels with dimensions of 20x9 at the front axle and 21x11.5 at the rear and tires measuring 255/30 and 325/25 have been mounted. As for the performance enhancements, these include the installation of a new K&N high-flow air filter, modified intake and exhaust ports, an oil catch can, and a Grail exhaust system. SlyStyle claims that after making these changes, the C8 Corvette is 0.5 seconds faster in the 62-124 mph sprint compared to the stock vehicle.
