by AutoExpert | 9 March, 2023
The "Audi electric mountain bike powered by Fantic" is a new e-mountain bike that is priced at a minimum of $10,000. This bike is inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar racer and is a collaboration between Audi and Italian e-bike manufacturer Fantic.
It features a Brose S-MAG 36-volt, 250-watt electric motor with a torque of up to 66 lb-ft and is powered by a 36-volt, 720-Wh battery pack. The motor provides power to the rear wheel exclusively.
Andrew Doyle, the Director of Audi UK, has indeed expressed Audi's commitment to providing sustainable premium mobility solutions. The Audi electric mountain bike is a prime example of this commitment. Developed in collaboration with Fantic, a leading manufacturer of electric bikes, the Audi electric mountain bike offers customers an eco-friendly and convenient way to travel off-road.
As a brand known for their award-winning vehicles, expanding their mobility offerings beyond cars is a bold move for Audi. However, this move is in line with the company's sustainability goals and their desire to provide customers with a comprehensive range of sustainable mobility options.
