McLaren Artura Reimagined: Novitec’s Carbon Fiber Masterpiece
by AutoExpert | 23 July, 2024
Novitec has enhanced the already captivating McLaren Artura, adding an extra touch of allure to this remarkable supercar. The tuner went all out with the carbon fiber parts, including a huge rear wing, new wheels, lowering springs, a bespoke exhaust, and the normal power boost.
The standout feature, a whale-tail spoiler, stretches from the D-pillars to the back, giving McLaren's supercar a sportier vibe. Those who want a subtler look can just use the lip spoiler.
A carbon-fiber bodykit by Novitec is available for the baby McLaren. It has a front splitter, an exposed carbon fiber hood, side skirts that are two pieces and have integrated fins, a garnish for the intakes on both sides, and rear bumper extensions that improve aerodynamics. Upholstery in any colorway you prefer, whether it's leather or Alcantara, is for available inside.
Vossen has fitted a new set of alloy wheels—19 inches up front and 20 inches in the rear—to the upgraded Artura. Novitec's custom-tuned springs lower the supercar by 0.8 inches for a more grounded stance. However, the tuner's main goal was to increase the McLaren Artura's power and volume.
Thus, they included their distinctive Novitec Race high-performance exhaust system—a choice between stainless steel and Inconel—along with bespoke tailpipes and the option for 999 fine gold plating. Not only does the exhaust improve the overall sound, but it also boosts the engine's power. According to the manufacturer, the Artura's plug-in hybrid system adds around 35 horsepower to the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, for a total of 725 horsepower.
Novitec did not provide the upgrades' cost. All the parts are, however, available separately.
