The Series A of the three-wheeled electric vehicle is almost ready to hit the production lines for Series A. With the latest $4 million, now Aptera will be able to start the production in their 7,000 reserved vehicles. With a 1,000 miles range, there’s no need to guess why there’s such a demand on the market.
The first noticeable thing about Aptera EV Trike is the perfect squeezed shape which perfectly fits two occupants. Secondly, you can choose between what type of battery you what. The batteries consume 1 kWh per 10 miles and can vary from 25 kWh (250 miles range), 40 kWh (400 miles range), 60 kWh (600 miles range), and the 1,000 kWh ( 1,000 miles range).
Also, its solar panels, give extra free-sun-happy miles which in New York’s sunny climate gives you at lea 11-30 miles a day. In sunny climates, you can enjoy up to 41 miles without charging electrically the batteries.
Aptera was founded in 2006 by Steve Fambro and Chris Anthony and they wisely proved that a generally three-wheels enclosed motorcycle, can become an electrical trike, despite the NHTSA regulations. This is more than just a contemporary EV, this is a beautiful trike that outstands any other four-wheel vehicle.
Prices for an almost free fuel Aptera EV Trike start at $25,900, but could very well go up to $46,900 for a higher efficiency two-seater.
