The Prior-Design tuning company has revealed the plans for the future of our freshly launched Mercedes-AMG GT S. The package of changes involves a wide body kit and some aerodynamic elements designed to increase the appeal athletes.
Named PD800GT the body kit includes a new front spoiler with air vents and ventilation tunnels for the ceramic brakes. There are also laid down new side sills extensions and enlargements for wings both back and face. Also included is the "gills" hood, and Prior-Design wants to make us believe that they are helping the bi-turbo engine to breathe more easily.
That we're on the subject, we would like to remind you that GT S's is powered by a V8 4.0-liter turbo-aspirated, which produces 510 horsepower and around 650 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear axle via a transmission with seven speeds. And to put all the power as efficiently as asphalt, the car was chosen and a massive spoiler on the trunk lid.
We do not know how much they will influence the performance of the GT aerodynamic components installed, but even without them, The German Sportscar may reach the first hundred in 3.8 seconds and the maximum speed electronically limited amounts 310 km/h.
