AC Schnitzer Redefines Luxury SUVs With Customized BMW XM

AC Schnitzer has added yet another upgrade option for BMW XM SUV customers. By installing a more extreme aero kit, new 23-inch wheels, lowering the suspension, and boosting the power of the V8, the tuner took the regular XM to a whole new level.
A noticeable splitter, aerodynamic front bumper flicks, a rear wing, and additional rear diffuser fins are all parts of the BMW XM's redesign by AC Schnitzer.
The German tuning company decided to introduce new 23-inch AC5 flowforming wheels for the BMW XM. The wheels come in two different finishes: gloss black and silver/black. The wheels feature two spokes shaped like a double Y. Meanwhile, the only interior modifications were new gear shift paddles and aluminum pedals.
AC Schnitzer's lowering springs push the BMW M flagship model closer to the ground by 0.8–1 inches. A pair of black anodized aluminum wheel spacers further enhances the athletic stance by adding 0.4 inches of width per side.
When it came to the plug-in hybrid system's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, AC Schnitzer made a few adjustments. The tuner said that the adjustments increased the power output by 97 horsepower and the torque by 73.8 lb-ft over the factory unit, for a total of 741 horsepower and 664 lb-ft.
Curiously, the output is somewhat greater than the flagship XM Label Red, which produces 738 horsepower out of the box. Sadly, the tuner has not yet announced the price of the modifications.
