A Tribute To Legends: Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Honors Type 55

This special Chiron Super Sport we have here is an homage to the legendary Type 55 Super Sport. In homage to the original Super Sport, this "55 1 of 1" custom vehicle showcases Jean Bugatti's signature two-tone paint job from the Type 55.
The carmaker continued by saying it has the colors of Ettore Bugatti—black and yellow. The Bugatti also features a hand-painted "55" pattern that fades from the front fenders to the headlights.
“From a distance, the ‘55’ pattern ensures that the fender appears to be black like on the original car,” said Jascha Straub, Manager of Sur Mesure and Individualization at Bugatti, of the latter, adding that it is an intriguing touch. “On the original historic car, where you have some parts that end at a certain point, you can just paint until the shut line. But with the Chiron Super Sport, it had to fade into zero. It was a long and intricate process, but it was the right approach,” he added.
However, the Chiron Super Sport required a complete overhaul. However, it was a lengthy and complicated procedure. Black ten-spoke wheels adorned with yellow "EB" emblems and a black grille surround are among the other striking external features. Meanwhile, the rear wing has the inscription "55 1 of 1" on its underside.
The interior is nothing sort of basic, boasting a two-tone design with a combination of Alcantara and leather upholstery. A fading "55" design, starting on the doors and extending into the dashboard, captures attention. Embroidered headrests, carbon fiber accents, and unique sill plates with Jean Bugatti's signature are on another level.
The engine, which is an 8.0-liter W16 with four turbochargers, produces 1,578 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the all-wheel drive system and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, this Bugatti Chiron Super Sport can reach a maximum speed of 273 mph.
