A group of students from Japan have courage - they hand-built their own version of the Toyota GR Supra Spider. The Toyota was presented at the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon - a convertible;e based on Lexus SC$30 Convertible combined with body parts from the A90 Supra and 2JZ inline-six under its hood.
The most attractive feature was the Lamborghini Aventador's fancy scissor doors. It catches the eye of the collectors, but that one a one-off project. And now there's the opportunity to have your own GR Supra Lamborghini-style door. There's a kit conversion available.
The US Vertical Doors company offers a scissors door conversion kit made to fit your GR Supra. Built from hardened steel, the door kit is compatible with Toyota GR Supra models launched in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Sold for $2,199 plus the shipping taxes, the scissor door bolt-on hinge kit has even a GR Supra's bolt pattern.
