With the 2025 model year fast approaching, Bentley has shown its refreshed Flying Spur. It will perform better because of its brand-new Ultra Performance Hybrid drivetrain.
Among the visual modifications are the redesigned bumper intakes and a new grille pattern resembling honeycomb. What about the engine? The most recent plug-in hybrid powertrain from Bentley has a single electric motor and a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque.
These remarkable numbers indicate a rise of 145 horsepower and 74 lb-ft in comparison to the former most powerful version of the luxury sedan, the W12-powered Flying Spur Speed, which has since been discontinued.
With a full tank of gasoline and a fully charged battery, the 2025 Bentley Flying Spur will have a total range of more than 500 miles. This is the same as the Flying Spur Hybrid's 2022 launch, but with a far weaker plug-in hybrid V6 engine.
The total CO2 number is less than 40 g/km, and the range of EVs has almost quadrupled to more than 45 miles. Besides, according to Bentley, the exhaust tone has undergone a significant amount of development without the use of any artificial embellishment.
