This spring the popular trend is extending the brand’s range and it’s Toyota’s turn to expand its 2022 Highlander family range. Welcome the new member – the Bronze Edition. This model is offered in the hybrid version only.
As the name suggests, the 2022 Highlander Bronze Edition has dominant bronze accents present on both exterior and interior. Meanwhile, the same accents can be found on the 18-inch wheels, door sills, and cabin stitching. Also, there is a special bronze logo present on the unique floor and cargo mats. Other updates that the 2022 Highlander brings along include an electrically adjustable passenger seat - standard on XLE models, and a decent amount of gear.
You can also enjoy the LED daytime running lights, hands-free power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, puddle lamps with the ‘Highlander’ logo, digital rearview mirror, in-dash ambient lighting, 10-way power seat for the driver, and 1500W power outlet are standard. The best for the best, right? Toyota gives it all.
With optional FWD or AWD system, the 2022 Highlander Bronze Edition is powered by the 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. The hybrid vehicle delivers a total output of 240 horsepower. To not affect the rear passenger’s space nor the cargo area, Toyota decided to place the battery pack under the rear seats.
The special edition model will have Toyota Care and a 36-month or 36,000-mile warranty. There is even an additional 60-month warranty for the powertrain for 60,000 miles and 60 months - against corrosion perforation for 60 months. All the hybrid-related components will also get an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty, but the battery gets even the 10 years or 150,000 miles (241,402 km).
