The Ultimate Electric Duo: Meet Porsche’s 2025 Taycan 4 And Taycan GTS
by AutoExpert | 12 November, 2024
Porsche has just launched the refreshed 2025 Taycan lineup, introducing two exciting models that balance innovation and performance. The new Taycan 4 takes its place as the entry-level model, bringing dual-motor all-wheel-drive power to the base variant.
With power options reaching up to 402 hp with overboost and 429 hp with launch control, this Taycan 4 promises plenty of pep, hitting 0-60 mph in a brisk 4.4 seconds.
Standard equipment includes sleek 19-inch alloys, Matrix LED headlights, Porsche Traction Management (PTM), and Adaptive Air Suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). For those craving a wilder ride, the Taycan GTS steps up with a punchy 690 hp (boosted by launch control and overboost) and a Sport Chrono push-to-pass feature that brings a thrilling 93 hp surge on demand.
The result? A lightning-fast 0-60 mph sprint in just 3.1 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.1 seconds, a significant leap from its predecessor. Enhancements to the GTS include the “Electric Sport Sound profile,” borrowed from the powerhouse Taycan Turbo S, giving it a bolder audio signature.
Its exterior is dialed up with new Sport Design front and rear aprons, 20-inch Taycan Turbo S wheels, and striking details across the cabin, like 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, Race-Tex accents, and rear-axle steering.
Both models are now available for order, with deliveries expected in late Q1 of 2025. Pricing starts at $103,300 for the Porsche Taycan 4, while the Taycan GTS sedan begins at $147,900 and $149,800 for the GTS Sport Turismo.
