2022 Ram 3500 Will Be Sold In Australia For AU$163,000

The ultimate 2022 Ram 3500 joins the 1500 and 2500 models that were introduced earlier this year in the Ram lineup in Australia. The 2022 Ram 3500, which is exclusively offered in Laramie Crew Cab trim, starts at AU$162,950, or roughly US$119,000, plus on-road charges in Australia.
A 6.7-liter inline-six Cummins turbodiesel motor with 370 horsepower (276 kW) and 850 lb-ft (1,152 Nm) of torque powers the 2022 Ram 3500 to be offered in Australia. This allows the pickup to carry a payload of up to 1,724 kg (3,800 lbs) and to tow up to 8 tonnes when braked.
Ram Trucks Australia claims the 3500 has been tested for 80,000 km on dynos, 50,000 km on actual roads, and a full 20,000 km of rigorous durability testing to ensure it can withstand the harsh conditions. The new 2022 Ram 3500, like previous Ram vehicles brought to Australia, arrives here as an international-spec model before being changed to right-hand drive using over 400 locally produced parts.
In a message, Ram Trucks Australia national manager Jeff Barber stated, "The all-new 3500 completes the goal we set ourselves at the start of 2021- to produce a full range of fit-for-purpose trucks for the Australian market."
