Before the vehicle reaches showrooms later this month, Infiniti has implemented several enhancements to the 2022 Infiniti Q50. In addition to the base grade, the 2022 Infiniti Q50 may be ordered in three separate configurations. These are called the Luxe, Sensory, and Red Sport 400 respectively.
All-wheel-drive, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power-folding rear-seat side mirrors, memory systems for individual seats, intelligent keys, driver's seat power lumbar adjustment, and Bose Performance Series audio are the distinguishing features across all variants.
Wireless Apple CarPlay functionality was recently included in the 2022 Infiniti Q50. In addition to the Saddle Brown leather-attended seats, the Q50 Sensory is now provided with Graphite and Stone leather, as well as with the Luxe variant's leather upholstery. In addition, the Q50 Red Sport 400 has an optional seating option.
Each of these 2022 Infiniti Q50 models has a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that delivers 300-hp at 6,400rpm and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) between 1,600 and 5,200rpm. While this, the Q50 Red Sport 400, features a version of this engine with 400-hp at 6,400rpm and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) between 1,600 and 5,200rpm, other Q50 models feature a different version of this engine with 435-hp at 6,400rpm and 320 lb-ft (375 Nm) between 1,600 and 5,200rpm.
All vehicles have a 7-speed automatic gearbox that provides power to the rear wheels, as well as a four-wheel-drive option. Infiniti Q50 Luxe pricing begins at $42,100, and the Q50 Sensory costs $47,800. On the other hand, for those willing to spend a bit more, there is the Q50 Red Sport 400, which goes for $55,950.
