2021 Shelby F-150 Makes Its Appearance With Sporty Styling And Up To 775-HP
by AutoExpert | 9 July, 2021
In case the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor isn't quite enough for you, Shelby F-150, with up to 775-hp (578 kW / 786 PS), has been presented.
2021 Shelby F-150 is based on the F-150 Lariat 4 and includes an aggressive look with a ram-air hood, a sharper front bumper, and 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFG all-terrain tires. It is advertised as the most forceful, sophisticated, and competent version of the truck in its history.
Body-color fender flares, power side steps, and a Shelby branded grille have also been added to the truck. Body stripes, dark tinted windows, and a tonneau cover are among the other features.
The Shelby F-150 is also equipped with a Borla exhaust system and a BDS lift. There are also rear traction bars and FOX 2.5 shocks with internal bypass technology available for purchase.
The truck's interior hasn't changed much, but it does have two-tone leather seats with Shelby lettering. Carbon fiber trim, billet pedals, a personally numbered plaque, and customized floor mats are among the other embellishments.
Shelby did not provide exact performance figures, but stated that the base model has 395-hp (295 kW / 400 PS). But, since the F-150's 5.0-liter V8 delivers 400-hp (298 kW / 406 PS), this is most clearly a mistake.
Meanwhile, the supercharger package, which includes a Whipple supercharger, a billet throttle body, high-flow fuel injectors, and a performance air intake with a carbon fiber tube, is likely to be the most popular option. The V8 now produces 775-hp (578 kW / 786 PS) as a result of these changes.
Only 600 units will be produced, with only a few available for export. The truck is presently on order, with prices starting at $107,080 for the base model and $114,980 for the supercharged model, both including the pricing of the F-150 Lariat.
