Since the base launch in January, Toyota finally decides to share more details about the Supra model. The Japanese company developed a new version that goes as GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition. The new version got its name after the Spanish circuit and it’s limited to 90 units produced especially for the European market.
The GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition will be painted in Horizon Blue with black accents, 19-inch alloy, and red brake capillary. Meanwhile, the interior cabin features Alcantara upholstery and similar blue-shade stitching to match the exterior paintwork. Also, there is a special plaque on the dashboard.
As usual, the standard equipment should include carbon fiber trim, an 8.8-inch touchscreen display, 10 speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The famous automaker’s Safety Sense+ driver assistance includes pre-collision safety with both pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane change alert, blind spot control, lane departure alert, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and many more.
The GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition is powered by the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six delivering up to 335 hp and 500 Nm power of torque coupled to the eight-speed automatic transmission. Also, the 4.3 seconds acceleration for the 62mph is a good result. The test drive must be a thrilling experience.
