How crazy is it to create a new special-edition Continental GT dubbed the V8 Equinox Edition to be sold just in Japan? After introducing the new Continental GT Convertible Speed debuted, Bentley amazes us with a new special-edition Continental GT - get ready for a bomb drop - it's built for Japanese customers only.

Dubbed the V8 Equinox Edition this is 10 units limited exclusively designed by Bentley's Mulliner personalization division. This Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition will be sold in six cities across Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and Yokohama. Promoting a black, silver, and white monochrome theme, the customers can choose the exterior appearance between colors such as Black Onyx or Glacier White, though both color contrast with the original character line running along the side.

The standard models come with a Styling Specification including side sills finished in high gloss black carbon fiber, a front splitter, rear diffuser, and trunk lid spoiler. The designers created contrasting pinstripe accents for every carbon fiber piece and these need five days only to be properly hand painted. The bonus for this style is the 22-inch wheels finished in Dark Metallic Tungsten paint.

The interior features a stunning monochrome color theme matching the exterior silver accents put on the headrest and seat edge panels. Along, you'd see the same silver contrast stitching adorning on the seats and the steering wheel. The Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition dashboard has luxurious dual finish veneers finished in Piano Moonbeam and Grand Black. For more Mulliner style there are unique illuminated sill plates and silver accent stitching on the diamond-quilted seat and Mulliner floor mats.

This Bentley Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 542 horsepower and 770 Newton-meter of torque. The V8 helps you perform 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration in just 3.9 seconds with a 198 mph (318 km/h) top speed. Without an official confirmation on the price for such a jewel, the Bentley Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition should cost way more than $202,500 in the US.
