Following multiple spy shots and official teases, Aston Martin debuted the DBX707, the performance centerpiece of the DBX line. With 697 hp from its tuned twin-turbo V8 and a new wet-clutch gearbox, chassis changes, and aesthetic adjustments, the new Aston Martin DBX707 lives up to its claim of being the most capable luxury SUV in the world.

Aston Martin's engineering team tuned the AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to generate an astonishing 697 hp (520 kW / 707 PS) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. This is a boost of 155 hp (115 kW / 157 PS) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) over the basic V8-powered DBX. It's because of this that the DBX707 outperforms all other SUVs now on the market.

To transfer all of this power to the road, Aston Martin DBX707 has a new nine-speed wet-clutch gearbox that replaces the torque converter on the DBX for quicker gear changes. The SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds thanks to a revised all-wheel-drive system and an updated limited-slip differential. The DBX707 is the fastest vehicle in the luxury SUV market, with a peak speed of 310 km/h (193 mph), exceeding the Bentley Bentayga Speed's max speed of 306 km/h (190 mph).

Aston Martin DBX707 got a range of chassis changes over the original DBX for improved driving characteristics. The adaptive triple-chamber air suspension, which has new damper valving and recalibrated springs, as well as the steering and electronic systems, have all been updated. Standard carbon-ceramic discs with 420 mm (16.5 inch) front and 390 mm (15.4 inch) rear extensions and six-piston brake calipers have also improved stopping power.

On the outside, the new bodykit gives the new Aston Martin DBX707 an even more forceful appearance, expressing the vehicle's enhanced performance qualities. A bigger grille flanked by redesigned intakes and DRLs, as well as a more noticeable splitter, are among the alterations at the front. These modifications aren't just for show. They also increase aerodynamics and provide additional cooling for the motor, transmission, and brakes.

The DBX's tail has an F1-style diffuser protruding out of the bottom portion of the bumper, along with wider quad exhaust pipes and vertical inlets. Furthermore, a slanted rear spoiler adds visual expression. The aero package is gloss black by default, while carbon fiber is an option.

The new soft-close doors and reworked bottom portion of the center console are immediately noticeable once you enter the cabin. New driving mode selection switches, comprising dedicated buttons for suspension mode, ESP, manual gear selection mode, and active exhaust switch are added, letting the driver easily pick the option without having to go through the touchscreen menu as in the DBX.

There are three interior settings to choose from, with the basic option combining leather and Alcantara with piano black veneer. Customers who desire additional customization in terms of color, trim, and materials might consider Q by Aston Martin.

The 2023 Aston Martin DBX707 will be delivered in the second quarter of 2022, with a starting price of $232,000 in the US.
