Almost all the car manufacturers are trying to record the best possible times on the legendary Nurburgring circuit from Germany. But they are not the only ones, there are a lot of enthusiasts determined to show everything they are capable of. The good news is that the enthusiasm is rewarded, those from Revo had beaten the record for the fastest van on the Nurburgring.
A 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine Volkswagen Transporter, modified to produce 220 horsepower, ran through the whole German circuit in nine minutes and 57.36 seconds, which means that the Revo van broke the record set by Sabine Schmitz in a Ford Transit on a route shorter by approximately 1.6 km.
Other serious changes to which the German utility vehicle was subjected were: a Milltek exhaust system, a suspension system from Bilstein, Team Dynamics wheels and Dunlop Direzza street tires.
