VW Has Introduced A New, More Desirable ID.7 Concept
by AutoExpert | 11 September, 2023
Volkswagen has just pulled the wraps off an electrifying concept version of the ID.7, and you know what that usually means: a production model is on the horizon.
Let's talk style first. VW's design team has taken the ID.7 from ordinary to seriously eye-catching. They've dialed up the aggression with sharp new bumpers, sleek side skirts, and a huge motorsport-style spoiler perched on the trunk.
Black fender flares wrap around a set of stylish 20-inch forged wheels, and the car sits 60 mm lower for that sporty look. Plus, those carbon spoiler, splitter, and diffuser add a touch of racing flair. What's really got us revved up is what's under the hood, or rather, under the electric powertrain.
The ID.7 isn't messing around with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system pushing out 282 horsepower, but the ID.X concept takes things to a whole new level, nearly doubling the power output. It's notching up around 536 horsepower, making it a fierce competitor.
VW's got some serious motor magic going on with a combo that's perfect for delivering bursts of raw power. While they haven't given us the exact acceleration figures, it's a safe bet this concept will hit a zero-to-60 mph sprint in less than 4 seconds. The ID.7 is shaping up to be a thrilling addition to the electric car scene!
