Volvo Tested Its New Cars by Dropping Them  From 30 Meters.

Do you remember those epic car crashes down the cliff in a movie, ending with a blooming explosion? The most extreme and crucial crash test ever executed by Volvo Cars. 

Now, who would need a crash test from a height of 30 meters?

You’d never think of it, but they wanted to allow rescue services to prepare for any possible crash scenario apart from ordinary crash testing. At the Volvo Cars Safety Centre, extrication specialists are pretty extreme when it gets their customer's safety and testing their vehicle’s resistance. 

This test seems light compared to the single-car accidents at very high speed, accidents whereby a car hits a truck at high speed, or accidents whereby a car takes a severe hit from the side.
