Volvo presents a new crossover built on the S60 sedan platform!

It seems that the people from Volvo have serious plans about the competitors and the reason is simple, they want to return closer to the top with the leaders, where the Swedes gave up a little land recently.
So at the Detroit Motor Show, Volvo will unveil a new crossover based on the S60 sedan.
The success that Volvo records for the recent past are not enough to be equal with the Germans which are leaders in this segment. But one of the strategies is to expand the range of models. In this case, it is about the crossover to be unveiled as early as this month.
In the engines Chapter, these are already known to the fans of the brand, it will be taken from the current XC60. They develop an output between 180 and 304 horsepower. Compared to an S60 series, the new crossover will have higher ground clearance, there is talk that it will be even higher reaching 65 mm and it will get up to 201 mm, and a protective kit made of plastic.
Recall that in the summer of 2014 the Swedes launched the V60 crossover Cross Country that features the Hill Descent Control system, all-wheel drive, and an engine of 20 liters volume.
