The production of the compact Volkswagen T-ROC is going to start this year in August.
The conceptual three-door crossover dubbed T-Roc has introduced three years ago. However, Volkswagen showed a teaser of the upcoming serial crossover only now. Judging by this picture, the serial car, unlike the concept, will receive a five-door body and a much less bright and stylish appearance.

It is reported that the length of the one-and-a-half-tonne vehicle is 4179 mm, width - 1831 mm, height -1501 mm. This actually means that Volkswagen T-ROC will compete with Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008. The model is based on MQB-A0 platform and Volkswagen intends to produce a whole new set of novelties.
For example, one of them is Volkswagen Virtus sedan, meant for the Brazilian and Indian markets, which can also come to Russia under the name of Polo Sedan.
The engine range of Volkswagen T-ROC is still unknown, but the model will probably be equipped with a 1.0 (113 hp) and 1.5-liters gasoline turbo engines and also with 1.6 and 2.0-liter diesel engines. The 2-liter engine will deliver a power of 242 hp.
The production of the crossover, which must acquire mono and all-wheel-drive designs, will be established at the factories of Brazil and India.
