Volkswagen Multivan T7 Gets A Little Off-Road Attention From Delta 4x4
by AutoExpert | 13 December, 2021
Volkswagen Multivan T7 was unveiled six months ago, but top tuners haven't been slow to respond. Delta 4x4 appears to be the first to attempt, with a series of CGIs showing a variety of off-road-focused upgrades similar to those previously available for the outgoing Multivan T6.
The MQB-based Multivan T7 received a pair of Beadlock rims shod in Loder A/T tires measuring 255/55R18 in classic Delta 4x4 flair. The ground clearance has been improved by 40 mm (1.6 inches) thanks to the inclusion of new Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs, making it simpler to drive on rough terrain.
Volkswagen Multivan T7 gets an aggressive look owing to the plastic wheel arch additions, the protective stainless steel bull bar with incorporated PIAA lights, the protected rear windows, and the metal roof rack containing a pair of LED bars and extra equipment, in addition to the tires and robust suspension.
Despite hinting at a reworked exhaust system for a fuller sound, the tuner doesn't specify any engine modifications. Volkswagen Multivan T7 off-roader was imagined with the plug-in hybrid engine, which comprises a 1.4-liter TSI and an electric motor providing a combined 215 hp (160 kW / 218 PS) according to the eHybrid symbol on the tailgate.
The computer-generated pictures were developed for exhibition reasons by the company's 3D artist, and the components are not for sale. Nevertheless, Delta 4x4 says that if the tuning package receives enough interest, it may be turned into a real-world construct, with sales in the second half of 2022.
