Volkswagen Jetta GLI Performance Concept Shined At SEMA

This Volkswagen Jetta GLI Performance concept, based on the Jetta GLI Autobahn, was made to honor the "GTI with a trunk." The car's widebody package and 0.8-inch-wider, vented fenders say much about its aesthetic value.
A modified front bumper, wider intakes and classic red highlights, adds to the vehicle's menacing appearance. In addition to its athletic side skirts and twin exhaust, the Volkswagen Jetta GLI Performance concept car boasts a unique wrap that fades from black to Kings Red Metallic.
The 20-inch Rotiform wheels have the same style and are outfitted with unique aerodiscs and summer performance tires. Under the hood, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine has been updated with a RacingLine performance package, a carbon fiber cold-air intake, an enhanced intercooler, and an oil management system with an oil cooler. After these upgrades, the engine is capable of producing 350 horsepower and 372 lb-ft of torque. Specifically, the result is a boost of 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque.
