Land Rover updated the 2025 Defender SUV with a slew of new features and improvements. Key features include a range-wide Signature Interior Pack with luxury amenities, a captain's chair option for the 130, and a 110 special edition based on the Sedona.

The new Defender D350 shares its powertrain with the Range Rover; it is a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 345 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

For more effortless passing and towning, the new D350 has 49 horsepower (37 kW/50 PS) and 50 Newton-meters (37 lb-ft) more than its predecessor. Three different bodystyles (90, 110, and 130) and a streamlined range of S, X-Dynamic SE, X-Dynamic HSE, X, and V8 trims are available for the 2025 Land Rover Defender. Because most of the upgrades occurred inside the cabin, the outside has remained unchanged.

Nevertheless, a Defender 110 Sedona Edition with updated specs influenced by the Arizona desert will be available for a limited time only. This vehicle has a Sedona Red color with gloss black 22-inch alloy wheels, exclusive hood decals, and the Extended Black Pack.

Coming inside, the Defender X, V8, and Sedona Edition come standard with the new Signature Interior Pack, while the Dynamic HSE offers it as an optional extra. For both rows, climate seats with new winged headrests are available. Among the many features available on the Defender 130 are heated front seats and an electrically adjustable 14-way driver seat with memory functionality.

Enhanced by darker interior details, the Windsor leather and Kvadrat upholstery, ultrafabrics, and suedecloth headlining provide a luxurious cabin experience. Land Rover's designers also incorporated new pockets on each side of the center console, offering ample space for the driver and front passenger to store small items.

Combining the Signature Interior Pack with the Captain Chairs Pack allows the Defender 130 to go from eight seats to seven. The 2025 Land Rover Defender is now on sale in Europe and the United Kingdom. Identical revisions should soon find their way to the North American roster.
