At the Tokyo Auto Salon, Toyota featured the facelifted GR Yaris as the centerpiece of its booth, along with two modified models that highlight the GR Yaris and GR Corolla's aggressive potential.
Firstly, the GR Yaris RR x GROW Concept, featuring enhancements from Rookie Racing, boasts a striking front splitter, silver wheels with purple lug nuts, side skirt extensions, a new rear lip, titanium exhaust tips, and a prominent rear wing reminiscent of the WRC rally car.
The lowered ride height adds to its sporty appearance. The GR Corolla x GROW Design, sharing the spotlight, presents a compelling look with a subtle front splitter, side skirt extensions, and distinctive mismatched wheels—black on the passenger side and gold/bronze on the driver's side.
While images of the rear end are yet to be released, notable features include a large wing, a new spoiler below the rear window, and a tweaked rear diffuser. Although it's unclear whether these concept parts will see production, Toyota confirms that the updated GR Yaris will offer official performance parts.
These include a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber rear wing, a dual-mass flywheel, and track-focused shock absorbers, amplifying the vehicle's performance capabilities.
