Toyota Corolla Cross Evolved Into A Compact RAV4
by AutoExpert | 17 January, 2023
At the Tokyo Auto Salon, Japanese tuner Rivai displayed a new RAV4-style bodykit for the Toyota Corolla Cross with a selection of off-road add-ons. The RAVCross's new front bumper takes design cues from the RAV4's more robust Adventure package.
It has a bigger hexagonal grille with Toyota branding, fake side intakes that conceal foglights, and a skidplate that looks like aluminum.
As the AgeMaxxi suspension lift raises the crossover's ground clearance, the vehicle becomes more capable off-road. Furthermore, you will find a Rhino-Rack Sunseeker retractable awning, KC HiLiTES LED lights, ROAM Adventure cases with 52 liters of storage space each, and a Rhino-Rack Pioneer platform for extra storage.
The cost of the bumper, according to the tuner, is ¥203,500 ($1,584 at current currency rates), excluding the ¥9,900 ($77) Toyota lettering. The fender accessories cost ¥49,500 ($385), while the roof rack costs ¥249,700 ($1,943), making it the most costly component.
Additional costs include ¥42,900 ($334) for the suspension lift, ¥218,900 ($1,703) for the roof-mounted LED lights, ¥61,600 ($479) for the awning, and ¥36,960 ($288) for each roof box. Despite regional differences in the Corolla Cross's external styling, the body kit should fit vehicles from all markets. The prices shown above include tax but exclude shipping, painting, and installation fees.
