This Month, Skoda Karoq Will Reveal Its 2022 Facelift
by AutoExpert | 9 November, 2021
The remastered Karoq will make its public premiere on November 30th, according to Skoda. Karoq is Skoda's most famous SUV, and the 2nd most popular vehicle after the Octavia, with more than 500,000 vehicles made since 2017.
Despite minor kit changes in 2019, the Skoda Karoq needed a more extensive facelift to compete fairly in the congested C-SUV category. The Karoq closes the gap between the relatively small Kamiq and the broader Kodiaq in the current lineup.
Based on the revisions to the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq and spy photos, Skoda Karoq will most likely stick to a safe road with minor cosmetic changes to the front bumper and LED lighting components. Equally notably, it will have additional tech inside the car, such as the most up-to-date infotainment and ADAS capabilities. The standard, Sportline, and Scout models are all expected to be retained.
The 1.0-liter, 1.5-liter, and 2.0-liter TSI gasoline engines, as well as the 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine, are expected to be slightly modified, with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and additional all-wheel drive.
