This Is Ford’s Reaction To Homophobic Comments

Today, the entire planet is more linked than ever before. Even though social media allows for rapid connection with virtually anybody, such connectivity comes with a price.
In Cologne, where Ford's German headquarters is located, Ford's German division supports Christopher Street Day for many years. As part of CSD, Cologne hosts one of the country's major LGBTQ+ celebrations. In honor of the event, Ford presented a rainbow-themed Ranger Raptor.
Performance Blue's initial hue was described as extremely homosexual by a specific, unfavorable social media commentator. So Ford dubbed it the 'Very Gay Raptor.' After homophobic remarks were made against the company's Performance Blue Ranger pickup vehicle, Ford replied with its outlandish response.
A genuine Performance Blue Raptor was then used for a complete makeover. Gold foil from Alphafoil was applied to the back of the off-road vehicle, giving it much more visual impact than the rainbow hues alone. The result says eloquently about Ford's attitude toward individuals who believe such words and behavior are appropriate.
This is not the first time that Ford has made a vehicle statement in favor of LGBTQ+ people. A unique Ka truck with a rainbow finish was built in 1998 for Cologne's CSD celebration. Ford's GLOBE (Gay, Lesbian, or Bisexual Employees) network, which supports LGBTQ+ employees and inclusion in the workforce, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
In a greater style, Ford has made an extremely forceful message. Through August 28, The Very Gay Raptor will be shown in Cologne and will participate in the ColognePride 2021 march on August 28.
