This $350,000 Tuned BMW E30 M3 Is Armed With A Mighty 625 HP

With its masterful blend of power and agility, BMW's E30 M3 became the benchmark sports car of its period. One of Renner’s most recent projects combines the legendary E30 with the ferocious S85 V10 engine from a 2008 BMW M5. The S85 V10 generates 625 horsepower, about four times as much as the original M3.
Renner tuned the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 to produce more horsepower than standard. Therefore, the engineers had to deal with the significant increase in mass caused by the considerably bigger engine (BMW offered the E30 M3 with a four-cylinder mill).
New sway bar design and coilovers are among its other improvements. The chassis and suspension were also both modified by the tuner. The tuner places a premium on safety and reliability, guaranteeing that every vehicle it produces has working power steering, air-con, and other amenities.
Inside, the M3 seems to be completely standard. There are also subtle hints of current technology in the form of a new sound system and redesigned instrument gauges that display the right rpm limit. 18-inch aero disc wheels with Yokohama tires match the exterior paint. Renner estimates that the total construction cost would be about $350,000. Still, the client has the last say, and the tuner does provide more cost-effective possibilities.
