The Upcoming 2025 Polestar 5 Promisses An impressive 872 Horsepower
by AutoExpert | 10 November, 2023
Polestar recently unveiled their new Polestar 5 sedan at an event in LA, where they also showcased their other cool models. This 5 has been in the works for a couple of years and is set to hit the streets officially in 2025.
Fans are expecting a sleek sedan with a style like the other Polestar cars but with its own vibe. At the front, you'll spot those split headlights, similar to the Polestar 4. Even without the usual grille, it's got these cool lines that give it a lot of character.
The roofline flows smoothly to the back, which doesn't have a rear window—something that might turn heads. What's really fascinating is the super-fast charging battery Polestar's working on with StoreDot. Polestar say it could give you 100 miles in just five minutes without wearing out the battery.
That's a game-changer if it makes it to the Polestar 5 by 2025. Under the hood, this sedan's got some serious power: 872 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque from its two electric motors, using an 800-volt electric setup. The Polestar Day event wasn't just about the 5. They had their full range out there, from the 2024 Polestar 2 to upcoming models like the Polestar 3 and 4.
People even got to test drive the new and improved Polestar 2 and hop in for rides in the Polestar 3 and 4. The big boss at Polestar, Thomas Ingenlath, seems really excited about how the company's growing. Polestar started with just one car on the road, the Polestar 2, and now they're expanding to three models. He's pretty stoked about what's coming up and says it's going to be some of their most exciting times yet.
