The Ultimate 911 Turbo S Upgrade: Techart GTstreet R Touring

Here we have the Techart GTstreet R Touring in all its glory! Specifically, a redesigned ducktail spoiler and up to 790 horsepower are part of the newest offering from German tuning company Techart for the Turbo S. But that's not all.

According to Techart, the new body kit has more than 40 individual parts, including detachable aprons for the front and back. A hood, side skirts, carbon fenders, air intakes, and fender flares are just a few of the many new features. Both glossy and matte detailing options are available for that amount of carbon.

As we already mentioned, that adorable ducktail on the back, though, is the show-stopper. According to Techart, this fixed spoiler is a balanced compromise between downforce and good aerodynamics at higher speeds, replacing the regular Turbo S arrangement. The design allows more air to reach the boosted flat-six engine, which helps it keep cool, plus it's 60% lighter than the original version.

As for the power, there are two available options. The first slightly increases the engine's power by 60 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque. In Stage 2, they ramp up the aggression by installing new turbochargers and tweaking the engine and transmission settings. 790 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque are the results of the unique exhaust system that has been slapped on.

The basic Turbo S loses 110 lb-ft of torque and 150 horsepower. Techart mentions a top speed of 217 mph. An update to the sport suspension lowers the 911 Turbo S by around an inch so that it can handle the additional thrust. The optional Techart adjustable coilovers are mounted on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Techart center lock wheels.

Carbon aero disc brakes are an option, and the front track is an inch wider than before. Buyers can count on an abundance of materials like leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, and more on the inside. Techart only mentions the price, which starts at €98,250 for European clients. That is, of course, without the $230,000 911 Turbo S. If you'd like one, you should hurry up, as the tuner has set a goal of producing only 25 units.
