The Tsukuba Circuit Is Lapped Quicker By A Tweaked 355 HP Toyota GR Yaris Than By A Nissan GT-R Nismo

With its already impressive track performance, Toyota GR Yaris simply becomes perfect with modifications. A prime example is this tweaked GR Yaris, which can be seen lapping Japan's legendary Tsukuba Circuit at incredible speeds.
Toyota GR Yaris completed a lap of the track in 58.573 seconds, which is 0.788 seconds faster than the Nissan GT-R Nismo's official time from 2019. The automobile has 355 hp (360 PS/265 kW), which is 87 hp (88 PS / 65 kW) higher than the standard. The post also notes that it has 265 mm tires instead of the regular 225 mm ones and that they're semi-slicks, which would boost grip even further.
In fact, it weighs 1,109 lbs (503 kg) less than a GT-R Nismo, but it also loses three cylinders and 245 horsepower even in its upgraded configuration. Setting fast lap times necessitates superior driving ability, though. Watch the video to see how the Toyota GR Yaris is tested to the limit across the 1.271-mile course (a 2.045-km track).
