The new generation of the Nissan Maxima was expected to debut after the Detroit Motor Show held in January this year but it seems that the Japanese had other plans. The sedan recently appeared in a commercial for the Super Bowl!
It seems that Nissan wanted an intriguing presentation of the new Nissan Maxima. Today, the new Nissan Maxima was revealed in a 90-second video spot. The title of the spot (With My Father) suggests that the new Maxima is meant to be a family car.
First unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2013 the model retains the characteristic lines of the concept, friendly design but also with small sport touches.
Most likely under the hood, it will have the revised 3.5-liter engine of the current model that delivers 300 hp. Another engine could be taken from Pathfinder with a volume of 2,500 ccs which will be combined with an electric motor. It is not known when the new Maxima will be launched into production but most likely it will happen this year.
